I’m grateful that I can help my sister this year with vegan food that I make and share with her and that she’s a chef that is leaning more and more towards being vegan! A st of cookbooks just might be the final push she needs! Thanks for the chance.
We had such a wonderful year with our CSA this year, and I’m excited to go into winter with a freezer of yummy prepped veggies to use in new recipes!
My favorite vegetable is garlic. It makes so many things better!
You are my favorite vegan cookbook author so I am grateful for you and your talent.
It’s about the animals. Your cookbooks prove that we don’t need to eat innocent animals to enjoy good food. Every time I prepare a vegan meal, I let unsuspecting people know they just ate a dish that did not contain meat or fish. The look of surprise on their faces is priceless. And the comments I receive: “This is vegan??? But it’s so good!” Converting one person at a time 😉
I am so grateful to Robin Robertson for her delicious recipes. Her Vegetarian Meat and Potatoes cookbook helped my family easily transition to meat free and we’ve never looked back!! Love all her books and stories!!
Vegan on the Cheap was one of the first cookbooks my husband and I purchased on our vegan journey. It became so well loved that we later bought Quick Fix Vegan and More Quick Fix Vegan, which have some of our tried and true recipe favorites now. We’ve since expanded our family, and have two littles herbies under 3. Expanding our collection with these books would make vegan cooking for a family even more of a breeze!
Grateful for wonderful vegan meal options during the holidays, supportive family members willing to try something new, for our Healthcare workers, and for friends who have made going thru a pandemic slightly more enjoyable even if we do everything via zoom now!
I’m grateful that even with what’s going on in the world, my family is safe and healthy at home and we don’t lack for anything.
My kids and I are doing more cooking together these days and I would love to use your Mac and Cheese book with them!
I would love to win these cookbooks and share with friends in the local Vegan Society I manage! ??
I am grateful for my mom, my brother, my friend, and an excellent vet – all who helped me this week when my sweet, 17.5-year-old kitty was very sick with kidney disease and almost didn’t make it. She is recovering now and doing much better.
I am grateful that my son’s college was able to be open, careful, and safe, this past semester.
Oh what wonderful gifts these would be!!! But I might have to retain the M & C book for a while, lol! I have a dear friend who needs some nudging and inspiration, so what a great surprise that would be for her, as well!!! My DH has been a real trooper in eating whatever I put in front of him, but he commented the other day that he really misses “good” Mac & chee! Thank you
Hi Robin! I would love to add to my vegan cookbook collection. Vegan On The Cheap is my favorite cookbook which I ordered to help with meal prepping so I could pay off some debt. The debt has long been paid off but I use the book so often because of how delicious the recipes are! I am thankful I found vegan cooking and learned so many new skills that nourish me and my family and friends.
I’m grateful for my friend Stephani, who I will share the books with. We are both mostly plant-based, trying to be more so, and helping each other with this and some other projects.
Grateful for :
Giveaways such as this one
For the good that people do
To be safe and well and mostly sane
That we still listen to one another even when it is not easy
For the love so many share
I’m grateful to Robin for her delicious vegan recipes.
a perfect avocado makes me smile
I’m grateful for my slow cooker and your book Fresh From the Vegan Slow Cooker. So many fantastic recipes that I can prepare early in the day when I have more energy so I get great healthy food each night.
I know so many people who choose to be vegetarian or vegan. We eat many meatless meals, so I’m sure we could distribute these cookbooks to several people we know. (One might have to stay in my collection too!)
I am thankful every day for my son, and this whole journey of helping him grow.
My favorite vegetable is sweet potatoes. They’re so versatile – they can be sweet or savory, soft or crunchy.
grateful for my pups who keep me sane. And to have some time to be out walking in nature.
I’ve enjoyed your recipes and cookbooks since my sweetie and I became vegan 15 years ago. Not once has one of your recipes disappointed us. My favorite veggie is Buttercup squash, oh yum! I’m thankful for living in beautiful Arizona, being married to the most world’s nicest man, my dog child “Handsome Jack” aka “Big Mooshie Boy”, my passion for cooking, gardening, hiking, beading, birdwatching and cactus. Thanks for the opportunity to win your cookbooks!
Winning these wonderful cookbooks would revolutionize my cooking because it would introduce me to new ways to think about food.
I’m grateful for my dog, Dandelion. She brings such joy and love into my life each and every day. Also, grateful for your kindness. Thank you for the chance to win one of your wonderful cookbooks. <3
Grateful to be healthy and safe in a time of such uncertainty. These books all look great!
I am especially grateful this year for my good health during a time when so many others are sick.
I’m thankful for my kids who cooked the entire Thanksgiving dinner, then cleaned up!
There is so much to be grateful for…family, health, friends, my rescue dog (not sure who rescued who. It’s hard to believe nobody wanted her at the shelter. Either that or she waited knowing we were meant to be together. She makes us laugh and smile all day long)…
Finding the Vegan lifestyle is also something to be grateful for. It’s amazing how different one feels when crossing over. For me, it has been just over a year. I am always so grateful to people like Robin, who write books to share their expertise, creativity and passion with us. It makes it so much easier to commit to healthy eating. The books would be shared with my dad, who loves to cook and at 80 years old has been influenced to switch over and is mentoring all of us in staying on track and spreading the word. We are grateful to have discovered spices (who knew there were so many or how to use them???) and we love every vegetable!!! On a broccoli binge these days, but honestly they are all amazing.
I’m extremely thankful for supportive family, friends, and pets! This year has been one of
The worst for many. Between the pandemic, losing my Mom to cancer, taking care of my Mom’s really sick dog etc.- there were exponential moments that were super painful and stressful. I’m thankful to be surrounded by love and positive light. And I’m also grateful for Robin’s many comfort food recipes!! I’ll take those every day over packaged junk food. Thanks, Robin, for sharing your genius with us!
I’m grateful for all the delicious non-meat meals available and for a world that is more open-minded to vegetarians and vegans.
I have so much to be grateful for this year. First off is my health. After what should have been a routine surgery this summer, I had some major complications. I ended up in the hospital for 9 days. I wasn’t able to eat for a week and I had to have a second major surgery only 5 days after the first. It was the scariest time of my life, but I made it through thanks to amazing doctors and nurses, my wonderful partner my mother,
good friends, and an unfailing sense of humor. I’m grateful for the nourishing plants I eat everyday. I’m thankful that I am back in my kitchen cooking again. I could go on and on, but that’s a taste of what I’m thankful for this year.
I have so much to be grateful for this year. I finished successful cancer treatment in February and have revolutionized my plant-based diet since then to eat healthier than ever. I still have my job despite the pandemic chaos, I was able to go backpacking in Yosemite twice during the summer, and I’ve moved forward with personal life changes that will bring future happiness. My loved ones have also stayed safe. And all my pets are healthy. Despite it all, 2020 has been a year to cherish. I feel immense gratitude!
Thanks for contributing to the movement, in a delicious way
Your recipes were indispensable for me going vegan. A life saver!
I’m grateful for children and grandchildren who always brighten my days!
Also for you and so many other chefs/authors who share their knowledge of cooking with plants so we can eat great creations everyday.
I am grateful for the animals I get to care for. My abnormal old lady chinchilla who frustrates me daily but I wouldn’t trade her for any other, and the deer mice I have who for one reason or another are not able to live wild: a neurological issue, or a broken leg that didn’t heal well enough, and her captive born babies that act way too like domesticated mice for me to be comfortable with releasing them. They pose challenges and stress, but I think of the stress I have when I CAN’T help an animal, and that is so much worse. So I am grateful that I can make their lives ok.
I am grateful for my senior dog Henry. We adopted him just over a year ago but he sits in my heart everyday.
I want to be a more creative cook.
I’m grateful for health, family, and still having a job when others don’t.
I’m grateful to be able to have access to an abundance of healthy plant based foods and the awareness of the benefits of a vegan diet. Would love to win your cookbooks!!
Grateful to have my family safe. Two beautiful cats and a job and a home.
Watching our dogs play makes me smile (actually they make me laugh) !
I am so grateful that my family has your brilliant recipes. We love cooking from your quick-fix cookbooks. They are so good!
I am recently dairy free and am trying to find ALL the vegan recipes because I love dairy. It’s a learning curve, but I am grateful for all of the options out there!
My favorite vegetable is potatoes, because they’re so versatile!
I’m grateful for those that make these delicious recipes so I can easily follow and act like I know how to cook! And also for my kids to enjoy nutritious meals and understand the importance of whats fueling their little bodies and minds.
I am thankful for being born in the USA where we have personal freedoms and can eat as a vegan without reprisal from anyone.
Thankful That I am alive and well and able to enjoy life
I am thankful that my husband embraced the plant based lifestyle and became a much healthier man. One to share many more years of fun withe children, grandchildren and me. And for Robin’s Vegan on a Budget, the first vegan cookbook I purchased.
I use my “Vegan on the cheap” cookbook all the time. Straightforward ingredients, recipes that work and good for the pocket- book. Thank you. It made vegan cooking approachable and more importantly, tasty enough for my kids!
Ps. Just flicking through my well-used book I see I’ve written the weight in on the baking recipes. Perhaps adding in weights as well as the cup measurements might help others too. Thanks again.
It’s so good to just look out the window to see the beautiful world we live in…sunny, cloudy, foggy. It’s so good to get last summer’s peaches out of the freezer for morning oatmeal. It’s so good to pick the last tomatoes for one more pasta night.
I am grateful for this opportunity to learn more about vegan cooking. I recommended Robin Robertson’s cookbooks to my sisters when they started cooking and eating vegan food.
I’m gratefull for being able to cook vegan and not need anybody to make meals for me in this pandemic era!
I am thankful for my husband, for sunshine, for strangers who smile to me on the street, and for the strength of my body. In 2020 I lost my job, went through infertility treatment, had a very sick pregnancy, and then a miscarriage which I need surgery for this week. Through all of this, my husband has cared for me. I have never felt more grateful for life, for the family and friends who have supported me. My husband is not a vegan, but with one of your other cookbooks (Fresh From the Vegan Slow Cooker), he has fed me through the many times this year where I was unable to get out of bed. He has even begun to eat vegan at home, claiming he had no idea it would taste this good. These books would help my husband cook for me through the next round of fertility treatment, and everything that would come after that.
I cook from One Dish Vegan at least once I week, it is an absolute must have cookbook. Everything is so easy and delicious and there is just one pot to clean up at the end. The. Best.
I need to get the Protein cookbook as I have a teenage son obsessed with putting on muscle and I’m tired of just giving him smoothies with protein powder!
Ooh, great giveaway! I’m glad it’s the “first annual”! My library only has some of your books, so would love to win these. Happy holidays!
Love your books and recipes. I’m grateful for having the oppourtunity to learn some new techniques and expand my go-to recipes this season!~
My favorite veggie is probably mushrooms, but chickpeas are a close second :)!
I am grateful that we have everything we need and more. I am worried and working hard for those who don’t.
I am thankful for all the vegan cookbook authors who helped me learn how to make delicious food with plants. It’s been so helpful during the pandemic to be able to create meals with whatever I have on hand.
I love your cookbooks, but since I retired, I haven’t been able to purchase your more recent ones. I would love to win this bundle!
I’m grateful that I can buy groceries and cook wonderful homemade meals for my family in the middle of a pandemic.
I have many of your wonderful cookbooks but I treasure 1000 Vegan Recipes because it was a gift from my brilliant mom who is now in the later stage of Alzheimers.
Love your books!!! So grateful we have so many choices in what we fuel ourselves with.
Grateful that my family has a safe place to stay along with our 24 rescued cows and ox. Able to have a garden and have the boys go to school from home. Also that my parents are with us so I don’t have to worry about them as much.
I am grateful I have the opportunity to complete my degree after a 10 year interruption!!!!
Neighbors just saying! Happy Holidays to all!
What makes me smile? My husband ?? And my kitties ? of course!!!??
What makes me smile? My husband ?? And my kitties ? of course!!!??
I am grateful for my daughter who is my caregiver as of 5 years. I’m also grateful we get along so well, it makes it all worthwhile.
Picking a favourite vegetable is difficult, but I think I have to choose pumpkin as my number one vegetable. From soup to dessert over stews (and dozens other recipes) I love pumpkin in all shapes and forms.
I am grateful for and smile when I think of the people in my life; the beauty in the changes of seasons; and the diversity and delicious quality of simple plants and the palatable entrees of wholesome nutrition from mixing them in in countless creative ways. My favorite vegetable is beets with their roots and leaves. They come in various colors and parts with their full collard green leafs, celery-like stems, body of such vibrant tone, and roots to be saved for flavorful vegetable stocks. I would be delighted for this books to inspire my whole foods, plant-based experimental cooking and gift at least one to another seeking such creativity. Thank you for the opportunity.
I’m so grateful for how easy it is nowadays to be vegan! I can remember back when it was hard to just be vegetarian, let alone vegan. But now there are so many products and cookbooks and blogs and websites—and even animal sanctuaries to keep me committed! I’m so excited by how far we’ve come—and I’m looking forward to where we are headed!!
I would love to win these books. I am so grateful that my family is healthy and making the best of things.
Your vegan cookbooks fill some great niches that I haven’t seem before. How about a kidney friendly vegan cookbook (hint, hint)?
Hello,
I am a student from Calgary. Canada and am a newbie to plant-based cooking. Ethnically I am familiar with Indian cuisine but would like to expand my palette.
The first of your cookbooks to appear in my kitchen was “366 Healthful Ways to Cook Tofu”. I could no longer lead the double life of running my organization–to help dogs and cats–and then come home to a dinner of cow or chicken or salmon. I became vegetarian in the early 198@s, and have been vegan for the past 10 years. That choice has broadened my spiritual relationships, knowing that I am honoring all creatures and the planet. I’m now the proud owner of five of your cookbooks and counting!! Thank you for being a guidestar in so many journeys!
I’m grateful I discovered you’re recipes early on in my plant based journey. Also grateful that my best friend had one of your cookbooks and let me borrow it.
I recently bought the “How Not to Die Cookbook” and I discovered your wonderful recipes. I love the flavours and the ease of making the recipes!
I am so grateful that my daughters and I are supporting each other on our plant based diet journey!
Grateful for my new baby and rest of my wonderful family. My husband and I really enjoy your recipes and we’d love to win these books!
A lot of my friends and family enjoy eating my plant based dishes, and ask me how to get started themselves. Your cookbooks would be perfect to give as gifts to help them, then the ripples in the pond keep expanding! Thanks!
I am grateful for your wonderful recipes to help show people eating healthy (plus saving the environment and animals) is very possible. It’s all about good food and knowing how to make it. Thank you for sharing with all of us. Have great Tuesday 🙂
Vegan on the Cheap and Vegan Planet have been my go-to cookbooks for years! Thank you!
I just got the Rancho Gordo Bean Club subscription and I’ve been love throwing them in my slow cooker!
I am grateful that I am able to go to work, eat healthy and stay safe. So many others cannot.
Vegan Planet (2003) has been my favorite go-to cookbook for years now! Love the recipes!
I am grateful for hope, and for my teachers, whether they be young or old.
I am grateful to be both healthy and working during this time. I hope the same for everyone.
I discovered your deconstructed Banh Mi Salad recipe several years ago, and it is still one of my favorite recipes! Your recipes make me happy!
I just discovered a Vegan Latkes recipe of yours on VegNews and am excited to make it. It looks straighforward and tasty, and am sharing it with friends, too. Am excited to learn about and try many of your other vegan recipes. Thanks for the chance.
I am grateful for my family, our faithful family dog, and people who continue to try to make the world better. I really appreciate your recipes, Robin, because they make dinner possible for my family. I was diagnosed with a severe illness this year and energy is a precious resource – my family has come to rely on recipes streamlined to essential ingredients instead of the tedious list of eight things that are 1/4 tsp each!
I am grateful for finding this way of eating because it has shown me a healthy way of life that I can do the rest of my life. I still struggle, but I always know the answer. I’m down 28 pounds and am eager and happy to lose more. I’m also grateful for my family, friends, my job and my life. I am blessed.
My favorite kitchen appliance is the slow cooker! So I was so excited to see that you have a plant based slow cooker cookbook! I can’t wait to try this book!
I’m grateful for my family and friends.
I have your two other slow cooker cookbooks and would love to add your newest one to the collection. Also love the fact and I am grateful for the fact that you are collaborating with Dr. Greger once again!
I’m grateful for the amazing people sharing research on the latest nutrition and the incredible folks who create superb recipes with those ingredients.
Grateful to wake up every day and see the sun rise
Robin Robertson’s cookbooks are fantastic. They make vegan cooking approachable and not-intimidating. The food is delicious. Thank you, Robin!

First off, your recipes are absolutely genius! & I am so.grateful for them, I have kindle variations of many of your cookbooks but would LOVEE to have hard copies of them sitting on my kitchen counter? I’ve actually asked for some for Christmas from my husband..lol we have a picky toddler so finding easy, good toddler approved vegan meals have been quite challenging, but your recipes have made my life SO much easier so thank you so much!
I am grateful for my son & my husband of course as they give me purpose?
All time favorite veg -potatoes hands down!
